Next week we will be giving our 3-minute presentations. The first thing you need to do is choose a topic from the link below (it will open in a new window):
PRESENTATION TOPICS
Keep the following things in mind:
1. Your should have a presentation plan. It consists of the following things:
- Section 1 - Introduction: Introduce the topic, lay out your presentation plan.
- Section 2: Give a couple of arguments to explain the topic further. Use the words and expressions from the picture below.
- Section 3 - Conclusion: Give a short summary of your arguments. Share your personal opinion about the topic.
2. Communicate with your audience - make eye contact, speak slowly so that they can understand you, give them time to think;
3. Pay attention to your grammar. Use the Future structures that we have done in class, as well as all the other tenses necessary for the presentation. Use a variety of words - use synonyms, do not repeat the same words again and again.
4. Pay attention to the time limit! (between 2 and 3 minutes).
